Nitrous Oxide

If you’re feeling tense or anxious about receiving your dental treatment, nitrous oxide can help you relax.  This colorless, pleasant-smelling gas is completely safe and leaves your system quickly, so you can drive home safely from your appointment.

Conscious Sedation

If you are highly anxious about receiving your dental care, or if you need a great deal of dental care completed, conscious sedation may be a good choice for you.  You simply take a small pill before you come to our office. You’ll need someone to drive you to and from your appointment.  During your appointment, you’ll be in a completely relaxed, drowsy state—able to answer questions if we need you to, but not really aware of what’s happening.  Your appointment, and your dental work, will be completed before you know it! This is ideal for the dental phobic patient.

Beyond creating an optimal environment for you, sedation dentistry allows us to complete multiple treatments in one appointment. You can relax while we improve your smile.
