Digital Radiographs

We know many patients are concerned about the amount of radiation they receive from conventional x-rays.  That’s why we use digital radiographs, which expose you to 90% less radiation than ordinary dental x-rays.  Digital radiographs are stored on our office computer, so they can be easily and immediately retrieved if we need to refer to them; plus, digital x-rays don’t require the developing chemicals that can be harmful to the environment.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras allow us to zero in on any suspicious area of your mouth, teeth or gums and get a close-up view.  This helps in our diagnosis and treatment.  The intraoral camera also makes you a better partner in your dental care, because we can show you on the computer screen what we’re seeing, allowing you to make more informed decisions.

OralID

OralID is a fluorescent light that our team uses to identify areas of the mouth that are cancerous or precancerous. Because it’s a simple matter of shining a light into our patients’ mouths, it’s easy for us to find potential problems during cancer screening. This technology helps both us and our patients, as it allows us to detect cancerous spots before they’ve fully developed. OralID enables our team to recommend treatment to protect the lives of those in our care.
