Passion
for People
Dr. Zita Henry (previously Dr. Baker) knew she wanted to be a dentist from a young age. Her middle school boyfriend had less than ideal breath and she told him she would become a dentist and help him out. She did become a dentist and loves helping people by providing personalized solutions.
Educational Excellence
She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After practicing dental hygiene for a few years, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Howard University College of Dentistry. She completed a residency at the North Carolina Department of Rural Health working with migrant farmers.
Further Education & Membership
Continuing her education, she has trained at the Bicon Institute for Dental Implants and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. She is a member of the National Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (The National Dental Honor Society).
Home Life
She is newly married to Buffalo Bills coach and love of her life, Adam Henry. She loves spending family time with her bonus kids, Darian, Kynidee, and Ava, and dog, Coco. Volunteering is close to her heart as she does dental work for migrant farmers and participates in the Give Kids a Smile Program every year. She also loves to travel, run, and cheer on the Buffalo Bills.
